About OnlyInvesting Newsletter

I started off with creating a newsletter called onlycfo.io which focused on all things about the software industry — from operations to public markets. My background is leading finance at enterprise software companies which is where the name “Only CFO” came from.

As I grew to more than 14K+ subscribers in a year I have two primary audiences: 1) people operating software companies in CEOs, finance leaders, product leaders, etc and 2) people just interesting in investing in tech companies.

The people interested only in #2 did not want to hear about #1…so I am created another newsletter just for that group — investing in tech companies.

Why Subscribe to OnlyInvesting?

Nothing I will provide is investment, tax, or legal advice. I do not give opinions on stocks (even if the tone of article may suggest something). Here is what will be in the newsletter:

  • I will provide insights and trends in the software industry

  • Accounting/finance education so people can make better decisions themselves

  • Regular public company deep-dives

Expensing the newsletter

Many subscribers can expense this newsletter to their company’s learning and development budget. Paid subscribers receive receipts for their subscription.

Check with your company about your education budget. Everyone should understand finance!
